Here's a great concept, it's the world's first self-service booking agency. When someone wants to hire a band, they log onto this site and choose one. If your band registers with the service, you'll pay nothing until they get you a gig. Then you'll owe Gigmasters a 10 percent commission.

IndieCentre
Lots of do-it-yourself info on starting your own independent label, recording your songs, manufacturing your music, sales promotions, touring, and more. Who needs a major label anyway?

Looking for a gig? This is the place to go for independent musicians. Go to Venues and select by state. You'll get a list of clubs, addresses, and contacts. Some of them even list seating capacity. Practically every listing you'll need is here: Radio stations, recording studios, record labels, hotels, restaurants, and even other bands.

IUMA
Around since 1993, these guys were one of the pioneer indie communities on the Net. IUMA or Independent Underground Music Archive, gives you your own URL and Web page.
